PAL in the Classroom

If a school is unable to come to a residential facility for the four-day field-trip experience, PAL can come to the school! There is a suggested schedule of activities within a five-day window; however, each school is at liberty to modify the lessons to best serve their specific needs. There are sound rationales for spreading the activities out over a two week period or even up to a month. A more stretched out implementation may limit the intensity of the experience; however, the extended length lends itself to repetitions of key elements and further reflections upon the lessons learned.

PAL in the Classroom graduates not only possess an intellectual understanding of the principles and applications that have made their country free and prosperous, they also yearn to embody these well-reasoned core standards: The Four C’s of Citizenship ~ Clarity, Compassion, Courage and Commitment. The experiential curriculum vividly engages students with the facts of our nation’s heritage, including the moral vision and sacred honor that are vital prerequisites of our Republic.
